Thursday, October 28, 2010. Tuesday was a kind of scarey day. We had some bad weather. The tornado sirens were going off and on most of the day. The kids were sent home early and spent awhile in our little "storm shelter" (think sleeping bags on the floor of the pantry) until I got home to tell them it was O.K. to get out. Monday, January 10, 2011. After missing the Christmas snow we finally got to experience a beautiful blanket of white covering our neighborhood this morning. Actually, it started falling last night, but I made the kids go to bed because I was tired. Anyway.here's what we did in the snow! Tuesday, December 30, 2008. We took the boys sledding the day after Christmas. There was tons of snow and the boys had lots of fun. For Ryan sledding is all about how high and far you can "jump." There was a guy on the hill building several ramps for the sledders to jump off of. At one point they had a contest to see how many kids they could each jump over. Here's a few pictures of Ryan.
