Thursday, November 4, 2010. I LOVE THIS BABY! I can't believe Sawyer is 8 months already! How fast the time has gone by. I want him to stay as he is for just a while longer. I am so enjoying his current stage. He is such a happy baby and LOVES LOVE LOVES his mama! He is such a busy body and I know he is just itching to crawl so that he can get into EVERYTHING! He laughs every time I call him "Big Boy! He eats and poops sooooooo much! Ready for his close-up! Check out those teeth! I am so spoiled by him!

Life isn't fair, but it's still good. When in doubt, just take the next small step. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch. Pay off your credit cards every month. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

Wanting to spend some time with my parents, and get out of the heat of the AV for a while, the kids and I headed up to the house in Monterey to spend a couple of weeks at the end of June. The weather was PERFECT - sunny and cool and beautiful. We hung out with the family, got to spend some quality time with cousin Tanner, did some yard sale-ing and (as always) found some AMAZING stuff, and even got to help Tanner fly a kite (which Zach LOVED).
