What can I expect when I come in for walk-in hours? Some things to keep in mind when you attend walk-in counseling include:. It typically takes an hour and a half to complete paperwork and attend the counseling session. You may need to wait for the next available counselor. If the counselors’ schedules are full, we may ask you to come back.
