I've been trained to see the details. And one of my favorite places to stop and notice details is in nature. The evening we took a stroll through the cracked desert was so fascinating to me. NEVADA WILDERNESS IN THE SPRING. La Madre Mountain at Red Rock National Park - May 9th. This was one of the longest hikes I've been on thus far and it was totally worth it! It was sunny, cloudy, rainy, and spectacular. There is just something about being away from the city in the quiet wilderness full of color and life. It was a great afternoon with our great friends, Chris and Lacey.full of meaningful conversation, laughter, and enlightenment. Kind of a big deal, people! We are high school sweethearts.

For the stake talent show, I convinced my roommate Amandee to do ribbon dancing (like Marisa did her freshman year at college.). My mission call came after many failed mailbox runs, on Saturday! I opened it later that night. You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Bolivia Santa Cruz Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months. You should report to the Peru Missionary Training Center on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language.". I AM SO EXCITED! Don't Open the Door 2.

We left early in the morning and drove to Lava Hot Springs! We stopped at some Thai food place (oh my gross) Then we went to the hot springs! It was pretty fun, but I felt weird because before I left my parents told me they'd be watching me on the webcams.so that ruined that. We had a nice time. Everyone was going under and trying to get me to, but um, I am not going to rewash my hair. I do not have time for that! We got home and were getting all ready! I LOVED this dress. (even if I look super pale).
