Engage: Good Friday
http://braulerson.blogspot.com/2009/04/good-friday.html
Friday, April 10, 2009. Good Friday is all about knowing Christ to be a great Savior. But we will never know Christ as a Great Savior if we do not first know ourselves to be great sinners. We will never feel conversion if we do not first feel conviction–desperation always precedes deliverance. In other words, we will never own God’s glorious salvation if we do not first own our grievous sin. So with these thoughts in mind, find a quiet place to meditate on these glorious words:. With sore abuse and scorn!

I am the working title: November 2009
http://iamtheworkingtitle.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
I am the working title. Everything I do is a work in progress, because I am a work in progress. Sunday, November 15, 2009. Someone Like A Rabbit. I know someone like a rabbit. Afraid, and move, who knows of what. And move, twitch, move, freeze. Twitch, move, never never never. Stay, except on the move, and move. Freeze, and move. I tried to ask her. Why she is so afraid. Twitch, and she's gone. Camouflaged, freeze and move. Corner, catch, squeak, dash. I don't think she wants. Move, eat, move, sleep, move.

the art of being me: The Boy Mark
http://nenesnook.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-boy-mark.html
The art of being me. A brief summary of events and musings. That night, lamp bright, in the upper room. 160;I served him with meat and wine,. When he told the Twelve of his coming doom. 160;Their grief was mine. Unsleeping, weeping, I lay and listened. 160;As they talked and the hours moved on;. Till the moon rose and the white roofs glistened. 160;And the last man had gone. Then catching, snatching a sheet about me,. 160;Which doorways, walls concealed,. 160;Here to the oil-press field. I know, too late...

the art of being me: March 2015
http://nenesnook.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The art of being me. A brief summary of events and musings. I don't use my mother's Bible everyday for my quiet time. Somedays it's just too much to come across her fine penmanship. It's a bittersweet experience, my missing her balanced against my joy in knowing she's finally living with her Savior! Joy always wins however the moments to that victory can be painful. My mother is alive and living with the one who saved her! Someday I will see her again. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
