Sanford in South Africa: Mugabe 1 - Democracy 0 (Extra Time)
http://sanfordinsouthafrica.blogspot.com/2008/06/mugabe-1-democracy-0-extra-time.html
Sanford in South Africa. Saturday, June 28, 2008. Mugabe 1 - Democracy 0 (Extra Time). As the world (well, the soccer-loving portion of it) awaits the Euro Cup final between Spain and Germany, a very important contest has just concluded in Zimbabwe. In this match, Mugabe came from behind to defeat Democracy 1-0 in extra time. This is a very disappointing defeat for Democracy fans all over the world. As the match approached the 90 th. Several key players on the side of Democracy failed to contribute when ...

http://sanfordinsouthafrica.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Sanford in South Africa. Friday, July 25, 2008. The last couple of days have been pretty good, and there are a few people and groups that can contributed to the goodness. So I've got some shout outs to give. My second shout out goes to the other members of Team America, along with members of the French Connection, and the German (Isabel) for putting together this weekend's road trip down the garden route. I'm really excited about it! That's all for now, the matric scores are in. Gotta run! The lady in Ro...

http://geoffinbsas.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Living L.I.F.E. en Buenos Aires. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. My favorite sport in which to participate is, without doubt, basketball. Basketball always has been, and always will be, my favorite sport to play (at least until I’m so old that the only thing I can do is swing a golf club and drive a cart). That, however, has changed. Monday is the day that LIFE goes to a center called La Farrerre. With an opponent. Also, these kids, generally aged 10-14 or so, were good. So why am I telling you all this? I compl...

http://englishinvietnam.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 4, 2008. Today is the last day. I head home tomorrow. Fly out of Saigon at 7 am bound for the states. I can't believe how awful I have been at keeping up with this thing. My apologies. I guess that just means I have to tell stories in person. I have finished my project for the Center. Hallelujah! It is now being passed around to "experts" who will give it the once over and let me know if I made any major mistakes. I really really hope not, as that goes without saying. Amanda Goes to Prague!

english in vietnam: June 2008
http://englishinvietnam.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Two weddings and a funeral. So sorry to have been gone for so long. I was having some computers problems. I can only access blogspot from a wireless connection - which is unavailable at the Center and only available when your computer can recognize your wireless hardware, which it wasn't until today. Everything is good now and I feel quite a bit more connected to the rest of the world. I think I take this computer/internet for granted. Gotta run but I'll be back in the city this...
