BROWN TOWN: September 2009
http://onebrowntown.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. An eye for archeology. One of Elliot's presents for his birthday was a dig kit. It came with a chisel, goggles and other necessary tools to dig for dinosaur bones. Elliot was pumped. We started the project inside until we realized that all the little pieces of rock that E was chipping away at were flying every where. Literally! So we moved the project outside. It took him at least a couple of hours to get to this point. He has yet to finish his dig. Elliot is thrilled to ...

Monday, February 15, 2010. A Busy Valentines Weekend. We don't really "celebrate" Valentine's Day, but its name is a hallmark in todays society and even 5 year olds know what it is. At Elliot's school they called it "friendship day" and he came home with colored hearts for me and Xander, as well as, cards from his school friends. Pretty cute, right? So, naturally, he wanted to make cards for the actual day with me and Xander. I think I am going to frame this one. I love the bellies on our. A pic of Miles...

Monday, March 22, 2010. It was a nice quiet afternoon. Actually a little too quiet. Where's Miles? He was in the bathroom playing with Mommy's mascara. He knew just what to do with it. It's a good thing two year olds are so cute. Posted by Talia Jewelry Design. Sunny Winter Day at the Coast. There are only really two seasons at the Oregon coast, stormy and sunny. We decided to take advantage of a rare sunny day in February for a quick trip to the beach. Posted by Talia Jewelry Design. Blogs I like to read.

BROWN TOWN: November 2010
http://onebrowntown.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 14, 2010. I can hardly believe that Miles, my little baby, is three years old! Time is flying by way too fast. Miles is such a gentle, kind, lovable, and a funny boy. Elliot was trying to convince him to have a Star Wars birthday just like him, but when asked, Miles insisted on a train birthday. Miles was so excited about his birthday. Any time someone said, "Happy Birthday" to him he would grin and then say it back to them. He was asking for his cupcakes all day! I think I may say, "NO!

Sunday, November 14, 2010. A couple days after Elliot's birthday, Xander left for a 21 day trip to Arizona. He went on a 16 day trip, on the Colorado River, in the Grand Canyon. As you can see from the pictures - he had a great time. It was a long time for him to be gone and we all missed him dearly, but I am glad he was able to do the trip. Will he go next year, you ask? I think I may say, "NO! Now, just like I did last year, but Xander still went.so we will see, I guess. Posted by Talia Jewelry Design.
