Stitching in Texas

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. This is what happens when you don't finish your work in a timely fashion. You run out of thread. I'm not sure how long this has been kitted up, but as you can see it was a little too long. The thread I was using is discontinued. In other news, it is just too hot to do much around here. My little weather text this morning says 'record breaking heat'. Ugh. Hope you are all indoors with the a/c cranked up! Friday, July 31, 2015. And I'm really grateful to have Terry as a friend!

Stitching in Texas: Pretty, pretty

http://stitchingintexas.blogspot.com/2015/07/pretty-pretty.html

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Someone asked what kind of flowers these are. Of course I couldn't remember and had to hunt down the tag to find out what they are. They are an annual called Calibrachoa. Hope everyone is having a great week! I'm having foot issues again but I'm trying not to let it get to me too much - already made an appointment to see the doctor, hopefully it is early enough that meds can take care of it and I won't have to have the shots again. Those suckers hurt! July 8, 2015 at 3:37 PM.

Stitching in Texas: To post or not to post

http://stitchingintexas.blogspot.com/2007/07/to-post-or-not-to-post.html

Sunday, July 15, 2007. To post or not to post. I had thought to set this up and see how much I could figure out before I started posting but since I have a long way to go, I thought I would go ahead and jump in with my first post! I'm sure I'll have to drag a kidlet in to coach me through some of this (like how to make that photo in the header smaller! One down, one to go! I love your pillowcases! I would love to have a whole linen cabinet full of things like that. :). July 17, 2007 at 7:29 PM.

Thursday, July 16, 2015. 8 years ago. . . operator error, part two. This is the other post that was supposed to auto-post, it was supposed to post yesterday. I really need to get myself together and spend some time learning my way around again, This now and then thing isn't getting me familiar enough with blogger to do anything! I posted this post. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week! Your pink Hydrangea is gorgeous. I know I was a follower, but for some reason had to re-join your ...

Stitching in Texas: Overdue thank-yous

http://stitchingintexas.blogspot.com/2015/07/overdue-thank-yous.html

Friday, July 31, 2015. I haven't made the time to sit down and post a thank-you for a couple of birthday gifts. My sweet friend, Terry, sent me this little salt and pepper shaker set. I thought they could keep my one birdie company from the set I already had. Sadly, his mate got broken. I'm happy he has a new friend! And I'm really grateful to have Terry as a friend! My friend, Sarah, gave me this oversize pin cushion. It is 8 inches square and the numbers are big enough even I can see them!

Beth's Blog: Tardy second August WIPocalypse update

http://bethsblogger-beth.blogspot.com/2012/09/tardy-second-august-wipocalypse-update.html

This Will Be The Year". Friday, September 7, 2012. Tardy second August WIPocalypse update. Again, this post will not show much progress on my stitching, but I do have some surprisingly good news. As I have previously said, I entered some of my pieces in the State Fair this year to help fill the area for Cross Stitched pieces. To my shock, out of the three pieces that I entered, I won two ribbons! I can't tell you how amazed I was to win one! Designers there showing off their stuff. How cool is that?

View From The Pines. Living And Gardening In East Texas. Posted by: Brenda Kula. July 1, 2009. What I’ve Been Up To. For those of you wondering if I’ve fallen off the face of the earth, no I haven’t. But some of you may recall my fall backwards over some piles of deck lumber nearly five weeks ago. Well, the injury to my left foot has continued to keep me out of the garden. So I haven’t posted much. Because I am virtually indoors most of the time, I am continuing to blog on my decorating/craft blog,.

This Will Be The Year". Monday, June 4, 2012. I've been missing again June WIPocalypse. All that is to explain the pitiful amount of stitching I have done. Here is the report: On my Welcome Friends sampler, I finished the flowering vine going through the large Welcome letters and worked the border on the left side down a little. I am going to stitch the rest of the message next. I didn't make any progress on Beachy Mood - just wasn't in the mood to stitch on this one. I hope to work on it some in Jume.

I shouldnt have started this project on a day I wasnt feeling the best but I thought it would help spur me on to get something done. I started with the X-men symbol block because it was the simplest. Stitching in the country

Stitching in the country. Tuesday, 21 July 2015. How on earth does it happen. On Jamuary 1st I started off the year working on a respectable five projects. I have finished several of those since them so how can it possibly be that I am now working on 14. Are they breeding behind my back? Is someone sneaking them into the pile? The second is Hertz which is part of a SAL. The fabric for this was gifted to me. Have a good month and I look forward to seeing what the others have achieved. Monday, 15 June 2015.
