1 lb maple sausage. 1 lb pepper jack cheese. 2 cans crescent rolls. Brown sausage and drain. Mix eggs, grated cheese, and sausage. Pour over one can crescent rolls (pressed out in 9 x 13 baking dish). Then press the other can crescent rolls over mixture. Beat one egg, brush over top layer of crescent rolls and sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired. Bake @ 350 for 40-45 minutes or until brown. Andrea Jones (Stephanie Sleight). The original recipe called for strawberry preserves, so I made a batch with that and also a batch with my homemade raspberry jam. 1 cup softened butter. 3 ounces softened cream cheese. Raspberry jam, or other flavor of your choice. In a large bowl, cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until easy to handle. 1/2 cup softened butter.
