http://vascojustine.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Life on Oregon Avenue. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Baby, it's COLD outside! Hence, we played school with every single stuffed animal they own:. Btw, those that were "fighting" are lined up near the couch. Um.guys? How often does this happen in real school? Then we did an awesome craft:. Btw, you may think of it as an inconsistency, but I see it as sheer artistic genius: note that all four seasons happily coexist in this friendly village-on-the-lake). Tuesday, December 23, 2008. http://vascojustine.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Life on Oregon Avenue. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Given the enormous amounts of Bulgarian feta cheese (sirene/ сирене). Consumed during our vacation, we needed to wean ourselves from it ever so slowly. So, despite stuffing my face with banitsa practically until they were closing the doors on the plane ( Cabin crew, cross-check doors and lady in 4B, stop with the cheese already! We had to just whip up another batch. Here is the pictorial:. Separate each sheet of phyllo dough, spread a tiny amount of the ...

Life on Oregon Avenue. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. One two. three. FOUR! Happy Birthday, Kiddos! The kids are overtired and hopped up on icing. The presents have been unwrapped, the candles blown out, said icing has been hosed off. Twice. Justine is singing "Happy Birthday" to Vasco in bed. They have come a long way from the teeny tiny way-too-early babies that they were ( pictures. And they amaze us every single day. 1) they spontaneously and neatly arranged the entire pile of books on the bookcase. One tri...

So for the last couple of moths, we have actually been out-of-town on Lauren’s monthly b-day, but we still try to take her monthly picture. We really wanted to get pictures of Lauren with the tulips in Holland, but her birthday was a little too early for the tulips to be blooming:) Who needs Holland when you have tulips and other pretty flowers at your park? It was hard to get many good pictures. Lauren is at a stage where she would rather play instead of posing for pictures. Hope your weather is as beautiful as it is here! 2 Comments ». 27 February, 2010. 8212; chadandamy @ 4:21 pm. So we decided to head outside and work in the yard. Lauren loves to be outside, so we decided to try the walker…Don’t try this without supervision…Lauren has… and she doesn’t recommend it🙂. Note: Driveways and walker’s don’t mix! 2 Comments ». Oh my gosh, that dog…and that driveway! Have you hit anything yet trying to back out? Hadassah had a walker and she loved it. It was so nice that she could be mobile and I could get some things done.
