From a North London Kitchen. Culinary experiments from a book-obsessed baker. Thursday, 22 July 2010. 84 apricots, don't make as much jam as you'd expect for that much de-stoning. But it's worth every one. The height of the jamming season has begun, and I'm doing the best I can to put as much gorgeous summer fruit into jars as possible. Are you preserving the summer too? If so, please share how. This marmalady can't get enough of whacking things in jars! 22 July 2010 at 18:52. 24 July 2010 at 11:02.

From a North London Kitchen. Culinary experiments from a book-obsessed baker. Saturday, 1 March 2008. March) Part One: Breakfast. Okay, so technically I start this months Baking Day yesterday, but I figured that since it was February 29th, a sneaky extra day, it doesn't really count! The reason I sta. Rted early was because I wanted to try out a new recipe for Baking Day breakfast and had no intention of getting up early in order to make it. Cream cheese glaze and served up with our morning coffee. T...

Mavens of the Mailbox. We like real mail. June 07, 2009. I ordered this pewter stamp dispenser. A while back from usps.com. After falling in love with it at first sight:. It was back-ordered so I had to wait and wait and wait for it to arrive in my mailbox. Totally worth the wait. I filled it with a coil of Flags of Our Nation. And I also got a sheet of these beauties:. The Love: King and Queen of Hearts. Stamps. Not pictured here is the king, but a sheet of these is pretty enough to frame!

Mavens of the Mailbox: April 2009
http://mavensofthemailbox.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Mavens of the Mailbox. We like real mail. April 30, 2009. I thought I'd call this post "overdue" for a couple of reasons. Firstly, because this beautiful card arrived from Angie far too long ago, and I kept failing to take pictures of it because I had it sitting on the shelf so I could admire it. Also, because I know that the Mavens in Alaska must feel like spring is long overdue in their parts, and so it's good to know that it's finally on the way. April 26, 2009. Received by Molly from Rebecca. I'd lov...

Transplanted Alaskan
Life long Alaskan that needed a change and finding it in Wisconsin. Monday, May 6, 2013. Yucky Day, but it got better! This is what it looked like at around 9AM or so on Thursday May 2nd. Being that we had now power when I got home, I couldn't cook dinner (Bummer huh? Where could 15 inches of snow go to? Drove up to Tok (K...
