Saturday, August 24, 2013. I grabbed a camera, a tripod and a beer and walked out into the backyard hoping to find something worth shooting tonight while the rest of the family was out fishing. This is what I came up with. I noticed a few more rose buds that will be blooming soon, so hopefully I'll have a few more opportunities at getting a good rose picture in the coming days. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Review of Election Predictions. Before the election, I made my predictions; unlike the people on TV, I will compare them to what really happened:. Obama wins with 355 electoral votes. He won, but it looks like he will get 364 (although I did leave open the possibility of a North Carolina win, which put him over my guess). Monday, June 22, 2009. The doctor was not all negative.he said that Chilly has a "very strong ticker", good eyesight, good hearing, and appears to be mentally sharp. Because of the nerve problem, he doesn't have pain in the back hip, and he generally seems happy. He wanted to see Chilly back in three months. Since the visit, Chilly has been walking around more, eating better (without any canned dog food or people food) and seeming happier, despite the oppressive heat. Feel better, Mr. Dog!
