Main Street | Windy Hill Farm

http://windyhillfarmblog.com/2015/01/19/main-street

By W Stewart Tittle. January 19, 2015. The kids joined us for Thanksgiving this year. We gathered at the end of Main Street in a brisk breeze to record the event. Moments after the last shutter click, everyone darted into the cafe just inches away to get warm. Nevertheless, we all smiled for the camera. It was a good time together! 2 thoughts on “ Main Street. Cowley Camp | Windy Hill Farm

http://windyhillfarmblog.com/2015/03/03/cowley-camp

By W Stewart Tittle. March 3, 2015. Canadian pilots would come from British Columbia to Quebec to experience this very unique Northern Glider Center. Always highly organized, the Cowley Camp was a magical place. As soon as the morning instruction was completed with the tyros, every other private owner would vie for take off position to race up, down, and across the the Rockies. One could launch at 11 AM and land at 9 PM or later on many days of the camp. My longest flights were 7 1/2 hours.

Navy Days | Windy Hill Farm

http://windyhillfarmblog.com/2015/03/12/navy-days

By W Stewart Tittle. March 12, 2015. I flew home off the ship in June 1970. The Skipper asked me to plan the route for our 15 airplanes launching about 400 miles off the California Coast. I had us aim for Mt. Shasta and then turn left to go home. There waiting was a young lad I barely knew and a spouse about to deliver a young lady. I was glad to be home. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Our sheep production started when our now 16 year old daughter was 5 y/o and a friend asked her to show a lamb at the county fair. Our first years were focused on breeding purebred Suffolk sheep, just for showing at the local county fair, but has grown to include crossbred white face ewes bred for production. Welcome to our little piece of heaven on earth. We currently have one Purebred Suffolk Ram left for sale and a purebred Australian Shepherd.that was not meant to be a farm dog.

June 29, 2015. The Four Seasons lads just tidied up the 6 week project. Sergio, Alejandro, and Eric did the crafting while Jesse and Claudia did the upstairs work as well as on site supervision. Windy Hill Farm family

Windy Hill Farm family. Friday, December 20, 2013. Another Christmas tradition- Gingerbread houses. Each year is different. When I have a new baby or am pregnant, we use graham crackers. Other years, I make real gingerbread pieces. This year, however, Anne volunteered to take over the whole operation. She outdid me. She not only made real gingerbread, but she made a whole village. Anne made herself a fancy mansion, complete with gabled roof, sugar windows, and front porch. Thursday, December 19, 2013.
