Windy Hill Farm family

Windy Hill Farm family. Friday, December 20, 2013. Another Christmas tradition- Gingerbread houses. Each year is different. When I have a new baby or am pregnant, we use graham crackers. Other years, I make real gingerbread pieces. This year, however, Anne volunteered to take over the whole operation. She outdid me. She not only made real gingerbread, but she made a whole village. Anne made herself a fancy mansion, complete with gabled roof, sugar windows, and front porch. Thursday, December 19, 2013.

Windy Hill Farm Family: Our favorite Christmas traditions #1

http://www.windyhillfarmfamily.blogspot.com/2013/12/our-favorite-christmas-traditions-1.html

Windy Hill Farm Family. Thursday, December 19, 2013. Our favorite Christmas traditions #1. Going to see the lights at Temple Square is one of our families' VERY favorite Christmas traditions! We live a distance from the Salt Lake temple, so we usually visit closer temples to do proxy work, but we do visit the temple grounds every year at Christmas time as a family because the light display is phenomenal! Christmas would not be complete for our family without this wonderful tradition!

Windy Hill Farm Family: November 2012

http://www.windyhillfarmfamily.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Windy Hill Farm Family. Sunday, November 11, 2012. We got to accompany these guys and others as they sang, and we had multimedia presentations displayed on big screens on either side of the stage. It was neat to be able to be a part of this world premiere! As you have probably guessed, One Nation was about the civil war. The cast portrayed fictional people and how their stories related to the war. The stories were based on true ones, of course! While we are on tour, Drew and I get to perform this work in...

The Stirland Team: December 2012

http://stirlandteam.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 3, 2012. We were planning the presents we were going to give our family and friends. We were deciding what to get one of our Grandma's and Lily excitedly said, "I know! Let's give her chaos." Spencer and I laughed and commented that all Grandma had to do to have chaos was to be around our house for a while. :). Waking up to the family singing "Happy Birthday". The girls went to the zoo for her birthday. Any day spent at the zoo is a good day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fit 4 life challe...

Sunday, April 28, 2013. What we've been up to. Life is crazy and full with four wonderful children. Here's some of what we've been up to lately. One day we made peanut butter playdoh for a snack after school. It was a big hit with the kiddos. Lily showing Katie a magazine. Claire wanted to be in the picture too. The kids wanted to make a toilet paper maze in the hall. Ollie loves tying things and making messes. He was the instigator of this activity. Katie is too big for the doll bed! You can't really se...

Tuesday, September 17, 2013. I just did several posts and realized there wasn't anything about Ollie. So here's one. This is pretzel man made and photographed by Ollie. Gotta love his creativity! It was raining and there was a loud thunder. Claire looked at me with a surprised face and said, "Mom, it sneezed! One day I heard Claire yell, "Help Mom! Lily went to a friends birthday party a few weeks ago. When I came to pick her up she looked like this. She loved her little dog ears and face! She would rath...

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Last blog about vacation. Thank you all to bearing with me in my month long journey to document our vacation from two months ago. :) While in Florida we went to Univeral Studios Island of Adventure. We went to see the Harry Potter world. We LOVED it. But before I go into that I must tell about our drive to get there. On the way there (about a 30 minute drive total) Claire threw up. She was sick and we didn't know, until it was way too late! My Mom and I both loved it! We had l...

The Stirland Team: Hair this morning

http://stirlandteam.blogspot.com/2014/07/hair-this-morning.html

Friday, July 11, 2014. Every morning I ask my girls how they want me to do their hair. Their answers today:. Katie "Bow". That is her normal response. Claire "angel hair". Angel hair is a French braid around her head to make a 'halo'. Lily "Mary Lenox hair". Just a simple pulled back braid. It's fun to see how different they want their hair. (Especially since I am a ponytail girl). Have a happy hair day! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Windy Hill Farm family.

Thursday, March 28, 2013. We drove to Utah for the holiday season. We were so excited to go! I planned lots of fun activities to do in the car. We had one day that was pirate day. I let them each have a little pirate set from the dollar store. We also had some fun mustaches from Papa's work party. We had a lot of fun with the mustaches! We told pirate jokes. Here's a good one. How much did the pirate pay to get his ears pierced? Gotta love the uni brow. Lily sporting a mustache. I just had to take a pict...

The Stirland Team: Epcot- Day 3

http://stirlandteam.blogspot.com/2013/10/epcot-day-3.html

Thursday, October 24, 2013. Katie was such a trooper for the trip. In this picture she was enjoying being out of the stroller and being able to practice walking. Lily enjoying watching the fountains. She was really excited about it until Papa held her up and she got sprayed (below). :). We loved seeing Mickey and friends! Katie was okay with Mickey. But she did NOT like Goofy. I think it's funny we are all looking at Katie instead of the camera. Minnie mouse was okay too. Claires grumpy face, holding the...
