Jade's Travel Spam: Seeing some Amazon jungle
http://littlegreenrock.blogspot.com/2007/06/seeing-some-amazon-jungle.html
Jade Thomas: World travel page. Sunday, June 03, 2007. Seeing some Amazon jungle. There is only 2 weeks left for me in South America, and then i fly out of Peruand into Madrid, Spain (was not the original plan, but i did not plan for my travel agency to become bankrupt during my trip here). Why do i always get bad luck with return flight tickets? I have been to a local private zoo and seen spider monkeys. Guinea pigs (native here), macaws. Large colourful parrots), and a Tapir. Adelaide, SA, Australia.

Puja's Adventures: October 2006

Tuesday, October 24, 2006. An internationaly acclaimed brilliant film, and you can't give him a drink.#%? I mean can you imagine me refusing to sell a black person a drink after all the Indigenous activism i've been involved with, after the reinactment of the Freedom Rides and the documentary, travelling NSW to promote reconcilation and uncover contemporary racist attitudes. And my song! Could go in a pub.it was 1965." Well 41 years later and this attitude still exists. Posted by Laura @ 6:28 PM.

Puja's Adventures: August 2005
http://namaste-nepal.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 23, 2005. I'm in the final stages of organising my depature from Sydney to Kathmandu. I really have no idea how long I will be gone for, hence leaving is a little strange. Should i keep the kettle? How many boxes should i store in the attick, or should i just get rid of everything and throw caution to the wind. Sometimes I look around Sydney and I feel extremely sentimental about leaving, but then I realise this is my biggest calling and I can't wait to get outta here! KT and Carl's blog.

Jade Thomas: World travel page. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. Sai Baba - Bangalore. Guru to India and the world. Revered as an incarnation of Shiva. Staying at his ashram, witnessing the God/Guru himself, and meeting his devotees and servants who keep the ashram working, i can only say that i have felt and seen nothing but people full of themselves. Sai Baba is a good guy, but i see nothing magic, i just see a poor old man trying desperately to hold on to his legacy. That's easy he can give you that! Bought the...

Jade's Travel Spam: Walking to Choquequirao ruins.
http://littlegreenrock.blogspot.com/2007/05/walking-to-choquequirao-ruins.html
Jade Thomas: World travel page. Monday, May 21, 2007. Walking to Choquequirao ruins. Pronounced; Cho ke ki rao) are fairly recently re-discovered ruins (9 years ago i think) and are about 150km west of Cusco, near a little town called Cachora. The following details how to get there, and what to expect, based on my recent visit. First, take a bus from Cusco to Abancay. Make sure the driver is aware that you want to get off at the road (turn off) to Cachora. Which details the trail somewhat, but i found th...
