Drew arrived at 9:54 this morning, weighing in at a whopping 6.5# (a whole pound less than Lily) and measuring 19.5". He's doing great, we had a little scare with his heart rate dropping and the need to get him out ASAP. He looks just like Lily as a baby, I can't believe how tiny he is! Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers! OH BEAUTIFUL BABY DREW! Rest up my friends!

The majority of the time was spent in Grandma's swimming pool. Lily is getting a lot more comfortable in the pool, but still doesn't like to "go under". They will be traveling to Ethiopia around the same time this little one arrives. Congrats Shannon and Will! Cause you said in your dream that HK told you he's a boy.

Still waiting . . . they have just decided to get aggressive with my Pitocin. I have a feeling I will be asking for the epidural soon! The plan is to break my water between 7-8 this am and hopefully baby will be here by 8:30a. I hope you got some sleep last night! MAN, I was sure HK would be here by now! One year ago today we lost Jillian, it seems so strange that it's been a year. How did I survive this past year? What would life be like with Jillian? This went on for about 2 hours, then I finally fell back to sleep. I still didn't feel well when Lily woke, I finally called my OB around 11a after still having mild cramping, she told me to go to the hospital to be checked out.

We went to the nurse and Will forgot his vaccination card but we’re pretty sure he’s already had the yellow fever vaccine from his air force time. So I was the only one that got shot today…. Oh well, it feels good to have that piece done. We also got warned about all the wonderful things that we could catch in Ethiopia! Ok, don’t freak out parents, we’ve got it under control! We also found out from our agency that we’ll be taking a side trip to northern Ethiopia for a night, and we’re so excited to be able to get out of the city and actually see some of the country. And Carson makes 3. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Brian and I decided to take Carson to the Cherry Creek Mall today. They have an amazing play area in the middle of the mall. We had at California Pizza Kitchen and Carson had cheese pizza-he ate very good! He doesn't eat well very often so we were excited. We then went and played. He loved all of the stuff he could crawl and jump off of. He would not slide down the slide but instead see how he could jump over it! He is a boy who is a dare devil!
