We had an Easter lunch at Alemu’s house today. He is our agency’s representative here in Addis Ababa, and he’s been wonderful. We also found out from our agency that we’ll be taking a side trip to northern Ethiopia for a night, and we’re so excited to be able to get out of the city and actually see some of the country. In exactly 3 weeks we will be with our son! It still seems too far away for me, but at least we’re counting days and not months anymore. 5 Comments ». I am so excited for you! We went to the nurse and Will forgot his vaccination card but we’re pretty sure he’s already had the yellow fever vaccine from his air force time. So I was the only one that got shot today…. Oh well, it feels good to have that piece done. We also got warned about all the wonderful things that we could catch in Ethiopia! Ok, don’t freak out parents, we’ve got it under control! Our lives were blessed with Lily on 6.15.2006 . . . since her arrival everyday has been such a joy! Thursday, April 16, 2009. So I feel great right now, I know that it could change at anytime, my OB is planning on starting the Pitocin at 11:30p . . . epidural please! Hopefully, Hershey Kiss will be here soon! Part of the petals are missing from the flower and that is exactly how my heart is. Part of my heart because Grace is not here with us. And Carson makes 3. Sunday, March 27, 2011. We decided to take Carson to Casa Bonita today. Brian didn't have to work or study so we took advantage. He liked the cliff divers and the puppet show but not the gorilla. The gorilla jumped towards us and ran by our table and his eyes got real BIG! We were laughing at him. And Carson makes 3. Saturday, February 19, 2011. These are pictures from gymnastics today. Fearless is what one mom called Carson! I totally agree with that statement. He is not scared of anything and will get on anything. The other day I was cooking dinner and he was chasing the cat. Next thing I know, he is running across the kitchen table trying to get the cat! He will also jump off the back of the couch on to the floor! I am amazed at this boy! He looks SO big all of a sudden! Hes really growing up!
